The idea of a quilting retreat is to pack up all of your quilting gear and materials, drive out to the country or somewhere nice and meet up with a large bunch of similar-minded quilters for a few days of quilting activities.
Who Organizes A Quilting Retreat?
Quilting retreats are typically held by quilting clubs or groups. If you are not part of a club or group, that does not imply you’re not invited, most clubs and groups are content for new folks to turn up to a quilting retreat – after all , thats how they get new members and meet new people, which is a component of what a quilting retreat is about!
