Its Great To Get A Letter From Santa
As a child, most of us sent a letter to the north pole around Christmas, hoping that Santa Claus would read all about what we wanted that year. Little did we know, each and every child’s letter was being delivered directly to Santa Claus’s house. In fact, one of the biggest goals of the North pole is to make sure every child who writes in will get a special, handwritten letter from Santa delivered back to them. You see, Santa loved getting letters from all the children and reading about each of their wants.
So all through the year, when Santa wasn’t busy helping elves build toys in the factories, he would sit down in his special chair eating cookies and drinking milk, just waiting for his elves to run into him with their arms full of envelopes with a north pole postmark. Leading up to and during the Christmas season, when things get especially busy, Santa would sometimes sit for hours in his chair reading each child’s letter. Santa Claus wished that the busy season at the north pole was the entire year, but it seemed that some children didn’t write Santa letters at all, and some others only wrote Santa one time right before Christmas. He wished kids understood that if they wanted to get back a letter from Santa they needed to write in sooner or more often! He also wanted to thank the children for having enough faith to write in to begin with.
After Santa would read the letters, he felt obligated as Father Christmas to write back to each individual child. He wanted to make sure they knew that their letters were precious to him and that it gave him joy to know the children remembered him. For Santa always remembered the children. The whole north pole was created for them! He thanked the children for writing into the north pole. He told them to keep believing that the North Pole existed and to always remember the real meaning of Christmas.
Santa’s letters were always so inspiring and hopeful. Santa Claus tried to tell the children that each of their letters was delivered directly to him, and that whenever they sent posts into him that they would be carefully read and responded to. He also told them about how he and his elves work day and night all through the year, trying to make sure that everyone got exactly what they wanted most that year.
After a child sends in a letter with a north pole postmark, all they can do is wait patiently at home. With excitement they will wait for the mailman every day to see if they have received a letter from Santa. And when the day comes that they finally get their letter from Santa, it is always so wonderful. They read about how much Santa Claus loves them and wants only their happiness. They learn all about the North Pole and how it operates to get all the toys out just in time for Christmas. They also get to learn more about Father Christmas and how his favorite thing is to make the children happy on December 25. And the only day of the year that even comes close to Christmas for a child is the day that they get their letter from Santa in the mail.
